The mother of a 2 year old mauled by dogs at Pittsburgh Zoo will not face criminal charges.

Maddox Derkosh's mother lifted her son over the railing and he fell 11 feet into the African painted dog exhibit back on November 4th.

The Allegheny county District Attorney said Maddox had vision problems and that was part of the reason why his mother held him over the railing.

The District Attorney also said that the zoo is still under investigation for criminal negligence.

Comments

Why would you blame the zoo? Even if the child did have vision trouble, you don't lift them over a railing. It is there for a reason!
