Two Arrested in Connection to Burglaries

CURWENSVILLE, CLEARFIELD COUNTY -- State police arrested two people suspected of burglarizing a half dozen businesses in Curwensville and Clearfield.

30 year-old Michael Whitmore from DuBois and 25 year-old Rebecca Carfley from Curwensville are charged with breaking into several restaurants including Butch's 101 Pit Stop, Tibben's Auto Body, and Grampian Car Wash over a two-day spree lasting October 16-18.

Both will have their preliminary hearings Tuesday.
