Penn State Hershey Medical Center has  dedicated a new $207 million dollar children's hospital building.

The new six-floor facility includes five operating rooms and a pediatric intensive care unit with the latest technology. The Hershey Children's Hospital also features a performing arts area, a meditation space, and healing gardens.

The building uses  natural light where possible and features that evoke the natural world, such as a "waterfall" window  and large wall images of plant and animal life .

A $10 million dollar commitment from the Penn State Dance Marathon made the pediatric cancer pavilion possible. It'll offer private space for kids undergoing  cancer treatment and provide areas for doctors to offer clinical trials and experimental treatments.
