Man in Wheelchair Choked

CLEARFIELD, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - State Police say October 28 a domestic dispute between a 47 year old Clearfield man and 50 year old Scotty McLaughlin of Clearfield broke out.

The two separated, but later in the day State Police say McLaughlin allegedly entered the man's bedroom. Once inside, he allegedly began choking the man who is in a wheelchair. The man became unconscious.

McLaughlin was arrested and charged with simple assault. He is in the Clearfield County Jail on $50,000 bail.
