Around 5:15, dispatchers stated a tree was down near 422 West Front Street. The tree was on wires and the wires were on a car. Crews quickly responded and were able to clear the scene.
At this time, reports show over 500 people in the Clearfield community are without power. Shelters are being set-up in the area. Currently, the Clearfield County EMA Director stated a shelter will be set-up at the DuBois High School and a second will be at the Moshannon Valley YMCA. They are working to open others.
