CENTRE COUNTY - The Penn State Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Friday.
During the meeting the board will discuss the authorization of a subcommittee to approve possible settlements of claims made against the university related to the Sandusky scandal.
The university says the subcommittee will be able to provide oversight of a process where the university can address each of Sandusky's victims' concerns and compensate them for claims against the university.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 pm in room 108 of the Penn Stater conference center with an executive session beginning at 4 pm.
