The Nittany Lion faithful will be pumped up and primed to get ready for the highly-anticipated all-stadium Penn State WhiteOut game. All Nittany Lions fans are encouraged to wear white to both Friday's pep rally and at Saturday evening's nationally televised duel with the No. 9 Buckeyes.
The "Rally in the Valley" will feature the Nittany Lion football team and Coach Bill O'Brien, introduced by men's basketball head coach Patrick Chambers, along with Penn State cheerleaders, the Blue Band, Lionettes dance team, and the Nittany Lion. T-shirts and shakers will be given away at the pep rally.
Winners of five consecutive games, Penn State (5-2, 3-0) and Ohio State (8-0, 4-0) are tied atop the Big Ten Leaders Division. The Nittany Lions will be facing the Buckeyes in a 5:30 p.m. contest in Beaver Stadium that will air on ESPN, the Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com. Penn State and Ohio State will be meeting for the 20th consecutive year and 28th time overall.
Very limited tickets remain for Saturday's game, but those remaining, as well as tickets for Penn State's games versus Indiana (Nov. 17) and Wisconsin (Nov. 24) are available at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets or by calling 1-800-NITTANY (648-8269) weekdays from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The Blue & White Society is the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association.
