PATTON BOROUGH, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- A local school teacher awaiting trial on child sex abuse charges faces a new set of criminal charges involving child porn.
Shane Putorek, a former Music Director for Harmony School District in Clearfield County is charged with having 49 different imagines of young men engaging in sexual acts.
The charges were filed by Patton Borough Police late Thursday afternoon. According to a criminal affidavit when Putorek was first arrested and charged back in May 2012 police obtained a search warrant to seize certain items. One of which was an I-Phone where the images were saved, but investigators do not believe the photos were taken with the phone.
Putorek is headed to trial accused of touching a boy inappropriately and taking photos of him in the shower.
