JACKSON TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Students at Jackson Elementary spent Friday walking outside to raise money for school activities and supplies.

It was the first ever Walk-A-Thon, which parents, students and teachers took part in.
Over $7,000 was raised and all of the proceeds go back to the kids.

"We have a great group of family members in the district and we're tight knit community," said Nicole Burkett, PTO Boar Member and Teacher's Aide.  "We're happy we raised as much as we did in the first year that it turned out so amazing for kids to fundraise."
