Statement from Attorneys for Victim #2

Joel J. Feller, Matthew A. Casey of the Philadelphia Law Firm of Ross Feller Casey, LLP
State College Attorneys Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici

"It's interesting that a man who's defending someone accused of perjury in the Penn State
scandal has chosen to defame one of Jerry Sandusky's proven victims as a liar. The Freeh
Report, affirmed by Penn State, laid bare what happened in that shower and its shameful
aftermath. Conspicuously absent from Mr. Farrell's statement is the fact that Jerry Sandusky
himself, and his defense team, identified our client, and no one else on earth, as the boy who
Mike McQueary saw in the shower with Jerry Sandusky.

The identity of the boy in the shower is not now nor has it ever been in doubt. The horrific abuse
that he suffered both that day and on many other days will be the subject of a lawsuit that he files
against Penn State.

Mr. Farrell's comments are nothing more than a regurgitation of Jerry Sandusky's failed defense
strategy attacking his victims, many of whom initially denied being abused. As Mr. Farrell
should know, and should have considered before issuing his public statement, initial denials are
commonplace for victims of sexual abuse.

While Mr. Farrell threw his lot in with Jerry Sandusky, he should think very carefully before he
decides to publish any additional attacks on our client."
