Early-Morning Fire Rekindles

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY-- Two adults and a baby escaped from their Altoona home after flames broke out around 4:40 am Friday.  It happened on the 900 block of 2nd Avenue. 

The fire apparently started in the 2nd floor and attic of the house.  Altoona Firefighters got it under control in about 30 minutes. 

The Red Cross is helping the family with food and infant formula.  No word yet on a cause.
