DEP Poster Contest

The Department of Environmental Protection wants kids aged nine to 14 to take part in a poster contest highlighting the effects of Radon.  Radon exposure causes nearly 20 thousand lung cancer deaths each year, and nearly half of Pennsylvania homes have elevated radon levels.  The deadline to enter is November 2nd.  A winner and runner up from each state will be entered into a national contest.
