Penn State Homecoming Parade Route

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - Penn State is gearing up for this year's homecoming parade. It will be held this Friday at 6:00pm. The parade will form in the parking lots on Porter and Curtin road and will end north of Pollock road. Motorists may experience some traffic delays during the time of the parade.
The parade will travel the following route:
South on Bigler Road to Pollock Road
West on Pollock Road to Shortlidge Road
South on Shortlidge Road to College Avenue
West on College Avenue to Burrowes Road
North on Burrowes Road
Parade will disperse north of Pollock Road
The parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic from approximately 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Parking along the route will be restricted. Westbound thru traffic on East College Avenue will be detoured onto Porter Road to Park Avenue then west on Park Avenue to Atherton Street. Local traffic traveling westbound on East College Avenue will be permitted to exit onto University Drive.
