(State College, Pa) - The Penn State, Temple series has been pretty much one sided since its inception in 1931, and on Saturday the trend continued.

The Nittany Lions won for the 37th straight time over Temple, handling the Owls 24-13 Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

Matt McGloin threw for 318 yards, accounting for 3 touchdowns (1 passing, 2 rushing), as the Nittany Lions improved to 2-2 on the year.

Penn State will travel to Illinois next Saturday.  Kick-Off will be at noon.
