SAINT MARYS, ELK COUNTY - Hunt of a Lifetime is a Pennsylvania based non-profit organization that sends terminally ill kids on non-other than the  "Hunt of a Lifetime". This weekend members of the Bucktail Archery Association are hosting their own 3D hunt to raise money for the cause.

Starting at 8:00 Saturday and Sunday morning archers of all ages can try their shot at hitting 30 different animals that are scattered across a 1.5 mile stretch of woods behind the Saint Marys Sportmen's Club.  As people try their hand at target shooting, there will also be other activities like a chinese auction and later in the evening there will be a band.

Ed Greenawalt is a member of the association and has been helping to put together the hunt for months. He told Your News Leader it was once his dream to hunt in Africa, but now his dream has shifted to the reality of helping these kids.

"Fortunately, we can say we helped provide their dream. So to me, that's just like a dream because we are doing something for them" he said.
