PennDot Roadside Cleaning

PennDot is thanking volunteers after a statewide cleanup effort.  More than 140,000 people offered their time to collect more than 6.5 million pounds of trash from state roads.  The cleanup started back on March 1st and continued through til May 31st.  The volunteers cleaned over 13,000 miles of roads, trails and shorelines.  More than 4,000 clean up events were held statewide.
