A group, critical of the Freeh Report on the Sandusky scandal has released its own analysis of the findings. The Penn Staters for Responsible Stewardship says the Freeh Report contains 23 key failures.
The group says its task force delved into who Freeh's client was - Penn State University or the Board of Trustees, conflicts of interest in the hiring of Freeh, failure to provide documentation to support charges of concealment, and complete absence of consideration of the role of the Second Mile and its failure to act upon report of the 2001 incident.
Penn Staters for Responsible Stewardship says more than 40 legal experts worked on its analysis.
