More than three hundred and 50 thousand people have visited this memorial in the last year. That's about triple the amount of people that visited the area before the memorial was finished.
Tuesday is the 11th anniversary of Flight 93 crashing in Shanksville. Park officials say it will be a solemn ceremony that allows the families and the entire country to pause and remember the loss of those 40 individuals.
Monday night there will be a luminary ceremony at Shanksville, and Vice President Joe Biden will speak at the memorial on Tuesday.
