Sue Paterno, wife of the late Penn State coach Joe Paterno was present for the dedication of a Catholic student center she helped create.

Joe Paterno died of lung cancer in January, but for Sue, his presence is larger than ever.

"He's right behind me," she said. "I know he's watching."

Some Catholic Penn State students on-hand for the dedication of the Suzanne Pohland Paterno Catholic Faith Center lined up after the dedication to thank her.

"I think she's an amazing person and a good role model for all of us," said Alicia Joseph, a Catholic sophomore at Penn State. "I think it's great she took the time to do this for us."

Many remember the images of Sue Paterno walking out of her house with her husband after he was relieved of his coaching duties following the Sandusky scandal in November.

She's dealt with a lot of controversy and the passing of her husband since then, but she insists she is still moving forward.

"How I'm dealing with all of it is something I'm working on with God," she added, "...and my family."

Makes an appearance? How about she attended the dedication of the center, which included a full Mass? She was there for hours. And not ON campus. Please get your facts straight.
