EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Investigators confirmed late Thursday afternoon that two new victims have come forward stating they were abused by Father George Koharchik.

The 63-year old was put on leave by the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese in August; after allegations surfaced he abused minors more than 30 years ago.  He was a pastor at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Mount Union.   The abuse is alleged to have happened at a church in Cambria County where he previously served.

Since then, the Cambria County District Attorney's office said two other victims have come forth with information that they were also abused by the priest.   WTAJ News has learned they went to authorities after hearing Koharchik was put on leave.

It is now a criminal investigation, but no charges have been filed against Koharchik.
