Liquor Sales Up in 2011-2012

Sales of booze in the state has gone up this past year.  The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced the sales figures for the 2011 and 2012 fiscal year.  Pennsylvania sold $2,1 billion worth of liquor.  That generated nearly half-a-billion dollars in profit and taxes for the state.  The numbers are 5% more than those recorded 12 months ago.
