Sales of booze in the state has gone up this past year. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced the sales figures for the 2011 and 2012 fiscal year. Pennsylvania sold $2,1 billion worth of liquor. That generated nearly half-a-billion dollars in profit and taxes for the state. The numbers are 5% more than those recorded 12 months ago.
