ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - The people who collect taxes in Altoona could be closing their doors.

The Central Tax Bureau of Pennsylvania, or Centax, has collected property taxes in Altoona for the last several years. This weekend the Pittsburgh Tribune Review reported Centax will shut down in the next six weeks.

No word on what this will mean for tax collections in the city.
