LOGAN TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - The Altoona Area School District's PTO held their first ever back to school carnival Saturday at the Logan Elementary School.

Kids and the community had the chance to play games, get their faces painted and enjoy vendors from the area. Organizers of the event say a carnival is the best way to get the community excited about going back to school.

Altoona Area School District is set to return to school on September 4th.
