By: Patrick Schurr
Updated: August 15, 2012

FERGUSON TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY - Ferguson Township leaders met with residents Tuesday night to talk about proposed improvements to the community.

An engineering firm displayed concept drawings for the West College Avenue Streetscape project.

The plan is to make the area from Blue Course Drive to Buckhout Street in the State College area more pedestrian-friendly.

One of the engineers said there is still a lot of fine-tuning to do, but the design phase of the project is coming along well.
