Bald Eagle Population Growing

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Game Commission officials say the bald eagle population continues to recover in the commonwealth.

They say there are now at least 206 nests in Pennsylvania and that number has been growing every year. There are five nests in Huntingdon County alone.

Game commission officials say there were only three pairs of eagle in the state about 30 years ago.
