BLAIR COUNTY, PA - On Monday players  welcomed a special guest into the dug-out as heart transplant recipient Dalton Igoe paid a visit. The day proved to be just as inspiring for members of the curve as it was for Dalton..

"It was very special....it was nice...giving...knowing that everyone still is supporting my family through this tough time as were still going through the transplant process."

and what better way to continue the process for 15 year old Dalton Igoe then spending the afternoon...as the Curve's honorary team captain??

Dalton...who only month's ago....received a heart transplant at children's  hospital of Pittsburgh...visited with the entire curve team...and even exchanged Monday's line-up card before the game...

"It's awesome...i like it...i don't take anything for granted but it's very nice and i enjoy every minute of it... "

and curve manager PJ Forbes and the players...enjoy having the company of their good buddy...one pretty incredible young man.

"All the guys know him that have been here...and they were all excited to see him...that's the win today...just seeing him walk out onto the field...and smile on his face and him back in action "

"It kind of put a boost of energy in everybody...knowing the things that he's been through...how positive he remains and ya know...what a great story... "

Dalton's road to recovery continues...as he's been going back and forth between Altoona and Pittsburgh...this Friday he is slated to have a biopsy...and if all goes well Dalton could be back in school soon after labor day...as always we wish him the best of luck..
