Hip Replacements Failing Early

Federal Health regulators are taking a closer look at metal hip replacements. Doctors have used the implants on half a million Americans. In about 6% of patients, the implants had to be replaced in less than five years, even though they're supposed to last for at least ten.

The Food and Drug Administration is meeting this week  to investigate the problem.
