Fight Heart Failure with Coffee

By: Charlotte Ames
Updated: June 27, 2012
A new study finds that a couple cups of coffee a day may reduce the risk of heart failure.
New research from the American Heart Association suggests that by drinking coffee, you  develop a tolerance to caffeine. And that may lower the risk of developing high blood pressure and heart failure.

Researchers say moderation is key - meaning about two cups a day. Excessive  coffee drinking, defined as five to six cups, may  increase  your  chance of developing heart problems.
