BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - While Friday featured jury deliberations and no actual testimony, there were still plenty of people who wanted to be close to the Jerry Sandusky trial.

While the crowd of interested spectators was not as big as when the actual courtroom testimony was being delivered, there were still people in place a couple of hours before the Courthouse opened on Friday to make sure they would get one of the 85 seats in the courtroom reserved for the public and be able to occupy that space when the verdict is delivered.

Some of those lining up had personal connections to the proceedings. Others were   attracted by all of the national attention that has been paid to this trial.  A number of those in line early said they found that attending this criminal trial almost addictive.  And still others said they considered this high profile criminal case to be a significant event for their community and wanted to witness it first hand.
