Bishop McCort Advances to Title game, Altoona and North Star Bow Out

PUNXSUTAWNEY , PA -The Bishop McCort dream season continued Monday, as the Crimson Crushers did just that against District  9 member Elk County Catholic in a PIAA-A baseball semifinal 17-0.

The Crushers claimed the victory in six innings and now advance to face Montgomery in the PIAA-A championship game Friday afternoon  in University Park at Medlar Field.

HERSHEY, PA - Altoona watched its terrific season come to an end on Monday losing to Council Rock South 4-0 in the PIAA-AAAA semifinal.
The mountain Lions mustered just one hit in the loss.
