Updated: October 22, 2008
Governor Ed Rendell accepted a friendly bet with Florida Governor Charlie Crist over the outcome of the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays.

If the Phillies win, Governor Crist will send Governor Rendell stone crab claws and a box of oranges.  If the Rays win, Governor Rendell will send Governor Crist a Philadelphia Cheesesteak and soft pretzels.

The World Series opens in Tampa Bay on Thursday.  The series moves to Philadelphia on October 25.
