DUBOIS, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - It was a bit rainy and cool Wednesday in DuBois, but the weather did not keep people from coming out to a residential shredding event hosted by Stoltz Hyundai and Stoltz Toyota Scion on Beaver Drive.

The Central PA Green shredding event was to begin at 3pm but when Andy Biddle from Burgmeier Shredding showed up at 2:30 to set up there were already 50 to 100 people waiting to drop off their documents.

A large reason for people to drop off their personal documents is to protect their identity, but another perk is the documents are 100% recycled and people like the idea of being green.

Another way to go green is by choosing modes of transportation that also help preserve the environment. Stoltz Toyota Scion owner, Todd Stoltz says a Prius is one of the best "green" cars on the market.

The Prius is available in three different sizes and each can get between 42 and 50 miles per gallon. Some have even been recorded as getting 53 miles per gallon.

The Prius also has low emission, keeping the air cleaner and healthier.
