Gas Prices Falling

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Gas prices continue to fall relieving some of the financial stress on Americans.
    Altoona's average price dropped below three dollars in October, bringing the Western Pennsylvania average per gallon of regular, self-serve, unleaded to $3.14.  The average price per gallon last year at this time was $2.81.  Over the last two weeks the national average of a gallon of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline has dropped fifty cents.
    In texas the the prices fell overnight, brining self-serve, unleaded gasoline to $2.02 per gallon.  Residents made sure to take advantage of these prices, lining up at pumps, stocking up on the deal. 
    Nationally the price per gallon is $3.16, the lowest since February of this year.
