Voter ID Options

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - The state says they're trying to make the new Voter ID bill easier on Pennsylvania residents.
If you don't have a driver's license, but you have had one in the past twenty years, you can just go to a driver's license center and give your name and they will give you a photo ID. You only have to give them your name and they can look you up in the system. If it expired before that you should call ahead to work out the details.
The state is also encouraging personal care homes and schools to make sure there is an expiration date, picture, and name on the their ID's.

This is a good thing. I can't believe an honest citizen (regardless of political affiliation) would object to showing identification prior to voting.
