Inmate Stabbed

CRESSON, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- State Police are investigating an incident at SCI Cresson where one inmate stabbed another.

It happened Monday night after eight thirty.  Trooper John Matchik said one inmate stabbed another in the neck with a homemade weapon. 

"We had two inmates at that time attacking each other," said Trooper John Matchik.  "A motive is unknown and the investigation is on going."

One victim was taken to Memorial Medical for treatment.
