Drunk Driver Smashes into Amish Buggy

MIFFLIN COUNTY - A pickup truck smashed into an Amish buggy Friday.

Police in Mifflin County said the crash happened on East Back Mountain Road Milroy just after 7PM.

They said a couple and their four children, all less than 5-years-old, were riding in the buggy when it was hit.

Police report the driver, Steven Paul Frankhouser, took off after the crash but was later tracked down.

He was found to have a blood alcohol content of .22%.

Frankhouser was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of the accident.
