Annual Art in Bloom Spring Art Show

Ebensburg - Brian Caleb Dumm, a local professional artist and art educator has donated three original works from his collection to be raffled off at this year's art show to help raise funds. The 14th Annual "Art in Bloom" Spring Art Show, will be held on April 28th and April 29th at the Cambria County Courthouse.

Brian has studied visual arts at The Columbus College of Art and Design, The Pennsylvania State University, and The Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  His artistic styles range from fine to commercial.  Brian is also a professional illustrator represented by Portfolio Solution LLC, of New York.  He is an active member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, and the Allied Artists of Johnstown.  Many of his published books are available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and the Apple App store. 

The pieces donated are colorful illustrations which can be suitable for a children's room, office space or recreation room. "In the previous years, Brian's work has stood out to a wide variety of visitor's to our show," said Shawna Drop, Community Development Director. "We know his pieces will attract a lot of attention and the committee could not be happier to represent such a talented local artist like Brian. At last year's show, Brian took home the 1st place award for his drawing titled, "Alice."

Chances can be purchased for $1 each or 6 for $5 at the show, on Saturday, April 28th  from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. and on Sunday, April 29th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the event on April 29th.  The winner does not need to be present.   

 "Art in Bloom" is sponsored by the Ebensburg Area Business Commission and Ebensburg Main Street Partnership.
