UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. -- The Penn State Baseball team lost their Big Ten opener to Indiana, 14-2, in front of a nice crowd on Friday night.

The Hoosiers scored seven runs in the second inning and six more in the sixth, proving too much for the Nittany Lions to overcome. Joey DeBernardis hit an RBI triple in the bottom of the 5th to put them on the board, and Sean Deagan later hit his first homerun of the season, but it was not enough as they fell to Indiana in the first game of a three-game weekend series.

First pitch on Saturday is at 2:05 p.m. and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
