DeWeese Files To Run For Re-Election

By: Kevin Valentine
Updated: April 25, 2012
PITTSBURGH - State Representative Bill DeWeese is not letting a corruption conviction stand in the way of his re-election.

The Greene County Democrat filed petitions to run for another two-year term.

A conviction will likely prevent DeWeese from being able to serve, and at least one resident is asking the court to dismiss the petition.

DeWeese will be sentenced April 24th, primary day.
