Eva Kerschbaumer of ESSpa Kozmetika in State College shows us the ins and outs of a facial treatment.

First there's the facial massage.  The massage cream used has a bunch of good serums in it.  It helps put you in a relazing mood.  It's also stimulating, kind of like when you're running and get blood flowing with oxygen.

It opens up the pores, which helps the next step - cleansing.  You iron out wrinkles and lines.  It helps you feel tighter and more relaxed.

Eva suggests being concsious about where your getting treatments done, who is doing them and what they're using.  She says remember that they are putting this product on your face, so you don't want them to use something that's potentially damaging.

She also suggests talking with them and setting up goals.  If you're looking for clearer, brighter or smoother skin, they can setup treatments to help you reach that goal.

"this is a massage cream and it has a bunch of good serums in it  and i'm going to massage your face, it puts you in a relaxing mode. It's stimulation, kind of like when you're running and get a blood flow with the oxygen. Also, i'm opening up the pores for the next step which is the cleansing part. I used to call it the iron. You can iron out wrinkles and lines and feel tighter obviously from the stimulation. It's super relaxing. When you go to a place and you tour it and you feel that you're comfortable with them and you like the price you want to ask again what they're going to use.

She say it's about cleansing, toning, and stimulation.

There are other types of acid peels and exfoliations.

Basically, we shed our skin, so the whole anti-aging process is to help you shed evenly.

There are machines, micro dermabrasion, acid peels, lotions and potions.

It must be very hard for someone to choose which one is better for you. I do think, instead of going into local stores and finding for yourself, have a technician help you through that.

They study they go to school for that so they know what to recommend you.

Facials are not just relaxing, it's definitely something that will benefit your coloring, pore size, lines, firmness of your skin. Also, they know your regimen, they can teach you what to use, what's the right skin care regimen for you. I think she's sleeping.
