It's Tuesday, which can only mean...it's time for Tuesday's Tails!
Lisa Bahr from Centre County PAWS came on our show today to talk about Cookie and Bruno.
Cookie is a 3-year-old Beagle/Min-pin mix, who was an owner surrender at the landlord's request. She came in with her puppy Onyx, who has already been adopted. Lisa says that Cookie is a volunteer favorite because she loves to be held and rest her head on your shoulder. She was previously mistreated by children, and for that reason, will only be placed in a home with children above the age of 9. She is housebroken and very well behaved. Cookie does well with other dogs, but does not like cats.
Bruno is an 8-year-old Hound mix, who has been with PAWS for a year. When he came into PAWS, he was covered in fleas and had a torn ACL. Due to the generosity of a PAWS supporter, that has been replaced, and Bruno I good to go! He is great with everyone and everything. He loves kids, does well with dogs, and loves his people. He even loves cats! Bruno is missing a few teeth, so on occasion, his tongue hangs out of his mouth...but it's adorable! He is currently in foster care, so if you want to see him, be sure to schedule your visit with PAWS.
For more information on either of these animals, head to the Centre County PAWS website at www.centrecountypaws.org, or give them a call (814) 237-8722.
