Weekly Jobless Claims Down

WASHINGTON, DC -- Weekly jobless claims are down from last week.
The latest figures from the Labor Department show first-time seasonally adjusted initial claims at 391,000 for the week ending September 24th. That's a decrease of 37,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 428,000.
The four-week moving average was 417,000, a decrease of 5,250 from the previous week's revised average of 422,250.
