The "Lincoln Journal Star" says the 21-year-old man was taken into protective custody last Saturday night after he confused the University of Nebraska-Lincoln police station for a casino. The man reportedly left the station after an employee at the front desk told him they didn't have any blackjack chips. He returned a few moments later, prompting officers to get involved.
It was quickly discovered that the man had a blood alcohol content of 0.273. Police say the man didn't commit any crimes so he wasn't arrested, but they did decide to place him in detox.
