So far, so good for the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2008. The Nittany Lions came out firing on all cylinders in the team's season opener beating up on Coastal Carolina 66-10 and helped Joe Paterno earn his 373rd victory, tying him with Bobby Bowden for the all-time lead among major college coaches.
The Nittany Lions 66 points was the most in a Penn State season opener since 1926. Penn State was paced by a high powered offense that tallied 594 total yards, including a whopping 334 yards rushing.
