Burns to co-host regional Energy Fair

HARRISBURG, May 9 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria/Somerset, will co-host an Energy Fair from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at the Pasquerilla Conference Center, 301 Napoleon St. in Johnstown.

The Energy Fair, aimed at helping area residents and businesses find ways to save money on energy and learn about opportunities in the growing field of alternative energy, is a joint effort among Burns, state Reps. Gary Haluska and Bryan Barbin, and state Sen. John Wozniak.

"Innovations in alternative energy can help families and businesses save a lot of money," Burns said. "I encourage residents to stop by to learn more about these initiatives, and to find ways to conserve energy and reduce their utility bills."

The Energy Fair is free and open to the public.
