West Branch and Clarion Advance to State Semifinals

(York, PA) - The West Branch Warriors and Clarion Tigers extended their terrific seasons Friday, advancing to Saturdays state semifinal matches in York. West Branch avenged a district championship loss to Nothern Cambria by beating the defending state champions and advancing out of Pool play. Clarion Area also advanced by finishing second in the other Pool.
West Branch will play Holy Name while Clarion will take on Maplewood. Semifinal play begins at 8 a.m. with the finals set for 1:30 p.m.
