Breadsticks

Breadsticks
Guest Chefs: Ryan Rubright, a senior at Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and Miranda Ringler, a freshman at Shanksville-Stonycreek High School
DOUGH
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon yeast
Mix dry ingredients together.
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
Heat water and butter together in the microwave until the butter melts.
Mix the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients and form into dough. Kneed the dough, then roll the dough into breadsticks and place on a greased cookie sheet.
SEASONING
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons ground garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
Melt the butter in the microwave and then mix the garlic and oregano with the butter. Use a pastry brush and place seasoning on the breadsticks. Bake in a 350* oven for 12-15 minutes.
