CLEARFIELD---Curwensville Lake has always been an outdoor playground for residents and visitors of Clearfield County, but some of its features are in desperate need of improvements. Curwensville Lake Authority has received a $25,000 grant from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The money will be used to improve some infrastructure issues with the lakes facilities. "We definitely need to look at our bathrooms. We need to look at our pavilions, our boat ramps, our campgrounds. When we get all of these things improved, it will make the quality of whatever you come to do better." said Curwensville Lake Authority Secretary Aaron Evans. The lake authority is in the planning stages now, and the grant will help to put together a master site plan. However, Evans says more finding will be needed to put all of the plans in place.
