ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY

Folks in our area now have a convenient way to donate money to help the earthquake victims, just go to the grocery store.

Weis Market, Wegmans and Martins are all asking people to donate money at the check out counter. They say they just feel like it is the right thing to do. And they say their customers want to help out. And customers say it's a convenient way to help.

All three chains are donating any money they get to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. And customers say it helps to know where the money is going.
