Gorkys Hernandez made his debut for the Curve and his new team-mates seemed to respond jumping out to a 5-0 lead but then the bottom fell out as the Akron Aeros scored 12 runs in the final three innings to beat Altoona 12-5 Friday night at Blair County Ballpark. Kyle Bloom was solid on the hill for the Curve allowing just two hits and no runs in six innings of work.
